song structure: only using two chords

I agree completely with exhibits A, B and C. So much so in fact, that it kind of negates for me the one chord, textural, sonic cathedral type stuff. If one chord is 'creative', surely two is genius? Limitations and parameters are powerful tools in popular music, but severing harmonic/chordal movement is like cutting off a musical limb. It's a handicap.

Texture doesn't connect with the human imagination like movement through time or Pythagorean harmonic notions or primitive notions of collective freedom, or tunes the milkman can whistle, or songs that someone who has picked up a guitar only last week can play.

That's why Roadrunner will always be better than the collected works of every hippish sonic explorer, Wire noisenik and laptop noodler whoever lit up a fucking joint and decided to make some 'musik'.
