anyone here ever here of/delt through Moneybookers?
any comments / suggestions,

I've found no reason to not use PayPal, but I'm open to any safe electronic means of money transfer.

No Experience...sorry.

I made this dumb purchase from this guy on ebay (dumb cuz i didnt know it would be this hard to send him money) and he is telling me that he cant use paypal to receive funds from where he is. I find it hard to understand why but he then recomended we do it through this moneybookers.com thing. I don't know anything about it so i'm a bit weary.
+ the guy is selling this as his first sale and has changed id on ebay so that makes me think that all this is a bit to odd.

I figured maybe someone here had encountered something like this, buying gear internationally.

sounds a bit weird to deal with ebay and then to say i dont use paypal coz its not an option over here. i thought it was always an option and that some people don't like it cz its pricy or something.

i'm sure this guy comes to this forum sometimes, maybe not. if you know who you are, and you are reading this, we should talk about it here or on some msn type thing cuz emailing is just so long.

if its cuz of some paypal money propbleme i already am willing to cover that minimal difference.

Sounds shady. Ebay is not going to cover your butt if you use an out side method of payment. Unless this company has some sort of protection I would advise against it.

sounds shady you say? i do agree but what can I say, actually Ill do some more thinking and maybe I will look up some other forums and see whats up with all that. the guy sounds honest and has allot of that gear for sale but its just so hard to make a payment with peace of mind.

why would paypal not send payments there? don't they deal with visa and banks internationally, maybe i should just shop localy and fuck the whole online purchases. its just so convenient when you want something out there and different!

you should email ebay about it. I've never heard of it once, is it even a legitimate business

I have no direct experience with Moneybookers, but I do know that legitimate online-gambling sites like Pokerroom.com use them as paypal won't dirty their hands with gambling money.
