I bought a couple tickets online and endured the tickmaster rape job to ensure I had tickets for Saturday night.... there's no way I'd miss this show.

I mastered Exo's new CD (this show is their last and also the CD release) and I gotta say... it kicks freakin ass. And I don't say that often as I listen to so much music I tend to be a bit jaded.

Feel free to say "hi" if you see me there... I'll be the big, dumb looking bald dude hanging out with a cool looking girl with dreads, who, from time to time, has been known to dress as a sock monkey and hang out on internet forums (among other things).

Let's get together and celebrate these three men... I think they would appreciate it.

How many of you were at the 3 Friends show? I enjoyed myself for the most part but definitely felt a little odd at points during the night. I think it was because I really felt Doug and John's absense when their bands played and that made me sad.

Anyone else feel this way? Or, have weird feelings of guilt or something??

Overall, I thought it was nice way to celebrate their lives and glad the show was organized.

Overall I thought it was a kick-ass show... and although I agree I too had some strange feelings throughout the night, they were mostly good. I think these three men would be charmed by having a rock show held in their behalf and us celebrating them...

It was good to see friends there, and also to put some faces with the names of some of the people here.....

Tim! Sorry I missed you.

This show was incredible, and really done so well, despite the obvious unavoidable absence of The Bottomless Pit.

How those good people managed to get up on that stage is a true testament to how much John, Michael and Doug were loved.

A member of the Shure community was kind enough to take extensive photos of the evening. You can find them displayed at this link:

Salut! to all.

PS, I will post this later on a separate thread, but The Returnables will be playing their very last show on Feb. 18, I believe at the Empty Bottle, in celebration of the release of a new live CD.

Cheers! to everyone.
