I don't like cooked salmon or cod or sea bass.

I like smoked salmon.

I cannot understand the point of cod at all; it's a rubbish fish. It's bland and ugly. CRAP. This goes double for sea bass, with an added CRAP since it's always full of parasitic worms.

My favourite sea food is squid and razor-clams.

Plaice is my favourite fish, followed by mackerel. Those are PROPER fish.

i do eat cod but its not the best.

Get a couple filets of tilapia. Put some pecans and almonds into a small food processor, then mix with a little bit of bread crumbs. Dip the filets into some egg and then the coating. Heat up a little olive oil in a pan at medium heat, and sear the fish at about five minutes per side. Yummy.

For the best fish and chips in South London you can't go wrong with the Sea Cow in Clapham and on Lordship Lane in Dulwich. It's a guilty pleasure for me, this fish that is of the fried variety. I would gladly eat it until I die (about two weeks, probably). Any fish. It's all good.

I adore fish, especially salmon.

Last night I had salmon the best way I know - cooked for 10 mins at 450F. Nothing added except heat. Delicious!

I also worship at the sushi altar.

Do they make deep-fried smoked cod in English chip shops like they do in Ireland? It's a joy to behold, but it's rarely real cod now, just some tasty imposter like whiting or haddock.

Just so you know most fish have worms. Bass, cod, haddock...supposedly if you saw a piece of swordfish before it has been "dewormed" you would never eat it again.

Can't say I'm much of a fan of cod, haddock or bass for that matter. I do get a craving for fish and chips every once in a while. Tuna, mahi mahi and grouper that's where it's at.

i love all things seafood but i am boycotting cod and orange roughy because they are still being overfished to the point where extinction is becomeing a forseeable threat. i ask you all do the same. they are also both rather bland and therefore not a good choice for real fish lovers.

anyway, the best seafood i've ever eaten was a five course meal at anthony's home port in seattle followed closely by a sashimi restaurant in shirahama japan. the latter i might say was better if it weren't for my dang american palate. anthony's is amazing though. has anyone been there? it's right on the sound and we sat on the deck overlooking schools of fish, starfish and sealions etc. fucking beautiful.
