no. the Olive Garden is not an Italian restaruant. it is an "Italian" restaraunt. i mean, if you're into bologna alfredo, to each his own. in that case, the Olive Garden is your place. check out Domino's while you're at it.

this reminds me of something else. i shall start a thread presently.
if i got lasik surgery on one eye, i could wear a monacle.

Oh, me too.

One of the saddest movies I've ever seen.

Contains an incredible sex scene. This scene is incredible.

Si.

Venice, she is a character in this film, one of my favorites of films.

This scene of which you speak, she is so great, even Donald Sutherland's hair cannot detract from her tragically erotic feel. Of course, this hair, it must compete with Julie Christie, which means it is consigned to irrelevance anyway. And this hair is pretty relevant in most cases!

Also: one of best final lines in history of moving pictures.

My girlfriend's mum bought be don't look now for christmas, but I have still to watch it. Maybe I should watch it tonight! (but I also got Dersu Uzala, maybe I should watch that instead?)
Someone wants to search my house...what's a reasonable response to that? I know, I'll grab a fucking gun and threaten to kill them, at the end of the day everyone will be happy. Your mindset is fucked and you live in a dream world.

"Are you around northern Italy for a while, scelops? Have you an auto? Train ticket?"

It's actually part of a community college trip with some faculty i am friends with(it was an affordable trip), and my girlfreind, so no auto but trains and and other forms of transport will be involved.

There's plenty of free time invovled and my main goals are hunting down some Carravagio's in Florence and Rome.

Hey guys,
Me and my lady friend got some very cheap flights to Milan 8th Oct. thing is, i haven't got a clue about italy and would be very grateful if anyone could give me some tips, ie places to go, things to see restaurants, cheap(ish) but not horrible hotels, etc. Btw - only there for 3 days. I didn't want to start a new post so i figured i'd just add it on to the end of this :)
Thanks in advance !
