2Their album Hymns went criminally unnoticed, I think.
I think it even had Ted Parsons on drums. ?

3i think they are a fine rock band. they do properly what many other bands do wrong. i think 'streetcleaner' and 'pure' are pretty tremendous records in particular, but all their records are very very good. they kinda remind me, especially in their early stuff, of a metal version of early swans. only not as good as early swans.
very much not crap. let the derision begin!

4I haven' tkept up with their latest output, but Streetcleaner was an incredible eye-opener when I first heard it. I have not heard anything really bad (though I could have done without the remixes) so they remain...NOT CRAP

6Streetcleaner is a landmark of 1980's industrial noise. The only other Godflesh record I have is called Slavestate, and it is almost dance music.
In the late 1990's they ditched the drum machine and started using a human, but I ain't heard that album.
Not Crap.

7I loved Cold World back in college.
I remember enjoying the video for Mothra on MTV back in the day.
Live (with Prong and Napalm Death) they may have been fine. It was unremarkable enough that I don't much remember anything about it. Left no impression.
