Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Great music and such an astonishingly beautifully naively young intense mission to get absolutely fucked at every possible opportunity. Admirable. And they've stayed true to what they wanted to do in the years since. I love Spacemen 3. British music in the eighties would have been a colder place without them.

i met pete kember in a bar in london. i offered to buy him a drink, not knowing it was an open bar.

not crap, but i have to be in the right mood. not necessarily drugged, just... not too awake.

I liked them a whole lot, but didn't understand a lot of the canonizing that was going on at the time.

I still listen to THE PERFECT PRESCRIPTION once a week.

I think it's both. There is a version on "Perfect Prescription" and on "Taking Drugs to Make Music to Take Drugs To" and I believe they changed the lyrics to fit, if memory serves.
