Unless I'm mistaken, you were never in Red Swan. I believe you're thinking of Harsh Realm.

You're mistaken. The name change came before the personnel change. But yes, thank you for reminding me: I was in Harsh Realm*. As were you.
Why do you make it so scary to post here.

I'm thinking we should compile a list of the shittest band names here, and then have an EA competition to see who is/was in the worst named band on the international art rock scene.

The inverse of the EA hypothetical best band names contest: the EA actual worst band names contest.

He went to bed about a decade ago, or whenever he sold his soul to the bankers and the elites.

Longtime reader, first time caller...

This is an issue of utmost importance, it is true. There is no other feeling like that of playing in a band whose name you are ashamed of. Especially at those moments when attractive girls have occasion to ask the name of the band. Who am I kidding? That scenario makes me doubt even great band names.

SO--

Here are mine, good and bad:

Male Pattern Baldness--First band. I was 15 and it was definite CRAP
The Neutrinos--Not Crap
Nick & The Rock 'N' Roll Intelligentsia--Probably Crap
Texas Death Machine--Not Crap, I think

In college I played in a band that had a real identity problem. It was known as about five different things, one of which was not crap (Big Blue Whale) and the rest of which were very much CRAP, the worst being The More Fantasticles

Through it all, I've repeatedly adopted and abandoned Suzanne the Plan as a band name, and I think that one is Not Crap.

Most recently, there's a James Gang-inspired group tentatively called Brontosaurus, which is probably CRAP.
"It was not a significant bullet."

For obvious reasons, I would like to see vockins jam with Oaxacan.

vockins.

Oaxacans.

Don't start me talkin' 'bout Vockins and Oaxacans. They put the "rock" in rockin'!

I hope you're not mockin' the rockin' brought by the lock-in of vockins and Oaxacan. That'd be shockin'.
kerble is right.

Me? Mockin'? Vockins and Oaxacan? Say it again, I'll rock my Glock in like Flava wears a clock in!
