Anyone remember Dragon Warrior or the ORIGINAL Final Fantasy for Nintendo? I remember first discovering these circa 1990 when I was about ten years old. A cousin of mine had got a Nintendo and I started playing and became hooked. Ah Nintendo such a benign drug but too much can be unhealthy. I loved all of the RPG's though including Zelda. Also quite partial to Contra, Castlevania, Meteroid, Mario, Double Dragon, Mega Man etc. I then got a Gameboy and the Super Nintendo when it came out. Alos in the early-mid 90's I got into PC games, especially loved those put out by Sierra software if anyone remembers? Specifically Kings Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest etc. Also loved ID as well including Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake. Tie-Fighter and Rebel Assault from Lucas Arts. By the time Nintendo 64 came out I was shift more interest to music, books, art, athough my sister got one. For some reason I never liked the N64 controller or the 3D game format for a lot of their stuff. I haven't followed Nintendo's most recent system. What is it, the Gamecube?

I would have to say not crap with some waffle factor. In moderate doses it can be harmless but not too much.

It's kind of a cheap knockoff on games likeWorld of Warcraft but free and all you do is run around and kill shit.

In the past, videogames have at best held marginal appeal for me, but that has been shattered by World of Warcraft. I am SO addicted.

Astounding and beautiful, this game is.

My housemate does nothing but play World of Warcraft and go to class.

He is in his room online for hours and hours a day.

He doesn't go to bed until, well long long after I do.

He spends more of his life in his video world than in the real world.

I've know heroin addicts who are better off than him.

I haven't bothered with them since I was a kid, apart from one samurai slaughter thing which I played through to the end of all the character's stories then stopped. I used to play Space Invaders at the seaside arcade before I appreciated the ocean. I used to hate hanging round my friend's houses when this is all they were doing for hours. Boring crap. XBox=Cocks.

Man, that's kinda sad. Perhaps I'm not as "addicted" as I imagined I was.

The game is fun though.
