Really cheap beers that I say are good:
1. Sterling ($6.99/case and downright tasty)
2. Huber & Huber Bock (although they lose points for recent label change and elimination of returnable bottles)
3. Schlitz
4. Black Label (except you can really taste the aluminum)
5. Red, White & Blue (not sure if this is still available)
6. Haffenreffer Private Stock Malt Liquor
7. Blatz
Not quite as cheap but still cheap and good:
1. Point (my longtime standby)
2. Labatt's
3. Rolling Rock (only in the summer)
4. Pabst
5. Old Style

33Glad that Mr. Stackmatic has mentioned Carling's Black Label, as it is indeed Not Awful! Bernie's in Columbus used to sell it for .75 a can. I think that they've recently bumped the price to 1.25 or someting.

35the private stock is kinda rare nowadays but it does rule. for malt liquor it's all about Colt 45 and Olde English 800 High Gravity.
Better yet, eat the placenta!!!

Has anybody had the "Three Stooges" beer that the blowhole was pushing at the honky tonk happy hour a few months ago? Not bad for $1.25.
