We just moved, where, presumably, there are no snakes in the pool. Last place we had, it was summer in Texas, just a scorcher, we wanted some sun and exercise, so we took a dip in the complex pool. After five minutes of swimming I saw a snake, a little one, one with red and black stripes. No big deal, I'll just pick it up and throw it out of the pool. She said are you fucking crazy (yes, this was a public pool), so I didn't do it.
New place - no snakes in the pool.
