Be honest.

P.S. I started to get the feeling that this had been done before, but didn't turn up a thing in the search box. Feel free to correct me.

I'll be dead honest. No silliness here.

I consider Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris to be a work of not only craftsmanship but art. I flew into Paris on a overnight flight from Kennedy four years ago just to spend 9 days there being a tourist, having never been before. I took the RER straight from De Gaulle into the heart of the city and got off at Notre Dame. It was 10 o'clock on a crystal clear and fairly warm Sunday morning in March. I'll never forget climbing out of the tunnel and seeing the sun behind the cathedral. I was overcome with emotion and almost cried because it amazed me that faith in Christ could inspire people to build such a thing. I was also just in time for the 10 am Mass. The plainchant was haunting beautiful.

Edward Scissorhands made my cry the one time I watched it, back in the day.

The episode of the Simpsons where Bart and Lisa are on rival hockey teams... during the flashback sequence when Bart and Lisa are facing each other near the end, when little Lisa's ice cream falls on the sidewalk, and she cries, and Bart gives her part of his... I cried the first time I saw that.

There was some film that made me cry within the past 6 or 10 months, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was...
"The bastards have landed"

www.myspace.com/thechromerobes - now has a couple songs from the new album

french people made me cry too.
i had the amazing luck to see mozart's requiem performed in a small dark cathedral in southern france. i was drunk, it was beautiful, and i cried. aaaaaaahhhhhhh.

but the french aren't the only ones who made me cry.
COME AND SEE (a russian WWII movie) was playing at the vancouver film festival. holy shit, this movie is intense. when it was finished, i sat in the theater and cried for 5 MINUTES. if you ain't never seen this movie, and you like war movies, i recommend it.

I could take this in some different directions.

But I'm going to leave it at "Nights Of Cabiria."

The crying comes in the last 5-or-so minutes of it. With the last shot (the best last shot of any movie I've ever seen, and will ever see) being the culmination.

As many times as I end up watching this movie in the course of my life, I know my reaction to it will never change.

Video Days makes me cry.

Nicolas Ghesquière's F06 RTW collection makes me cry.

But the first song that ever made me cry was "Galbraith Street."

Right now I am listening to Lucinda Williams rapping about the "American Dream."

It is making me cry, kind of like how diamonds dipped in bleach jabbing into my eyeballs would make me cry.

But I like Grant McLennan's rapping in "River of Money". That's pretty good.

I don't know why but De La Soul's "I am I be" gets me almost every time I listen to it alone.
