4I've heard Metcal is the bomb ( and know many who say so, religiously).
I'm using a Hakko 936. For the price it's hard to beat.
It's built a studios worth of equipment, and an assload of microphones, and still goin strong

5i am hating the radio shack 20/40 watt iron. flimsy, lightweight base that alsways falls on the floor at least once per soldering session and the tips are suckjobs too.

8Goot RX 711 (AS)
It's nice and comfortable to hold, with a thin pliable cable that doesnt get in the way much

The Weller WESD51 is "da bomb"!
Being able to set the temp is very useful.
