I think I do too. I always imagine him as his character in Coffee and Cigarettes where he's toting a Tesla Coil around in a red wagon. It's actually quite a brilliant scene. Yes, I like to think that he is that character. I do not, however, dig the White Stripes (to my fiance's dismay).

I might go see a band called Pitchfuckers, but I would not see a band called Negative Soul.

perhaps you're right, but noel gallagher was spot-on when he said, “jack white looks like zorro on donuts.”

I agree some of the time especially in his writing/interviews.... though I saw him on Charlie Rose a month or two ago and he was a bit smarmy... I dunno. He often seems to be trying too hard.

Meg on the other hand was humble, quiet, and sweet. A plain-jane cutie!

i think the scene with him in C&C was easily one of the weakest in the movie. he disses hip-hop left and right, but at least the wu tang clan can carry a fuckin' scene, albiet with the help of bill murray.

plus he's got all these rants and statements that sound really ill informed and accusatory, as if he's genuinely afraid his audience might only be a fraction as hip and religious as he is.

how lame, to have such a bruised ego on such a large scale.
