Anyone know about this band Thunderstandable? Incredible album, haven't found one word about them on the internet, except that they are from Nebraska and already broken up.

HEY!
I was the drums-man in thunderstandable. Thank you for the awesome complement! http://www.thunderstandable.com has our songs, and I think there are two early versions of songs on some thread on this very webboard. - I bet a search of modar and songs would do it - yep.. here.

Jason Pierce - Silent Sound
Ludwig Van Beethoven - Eroica
Bob Dylan - a compilation of stuff my partner has. I've never listened to much Bob Dylan. I am currently a little obsessed with the song Shelter From The Storm but I could not tell you why. Actually maybe I could.
Fugazi - The Argument and Steady Diet Of Nothing. The former was formerly underplayed; the latter overplayed a long time ago. Now after much time has passed they come together like two fresh spring bunnies in the carrot fields of my head.

The Mekons - Fear and Whiskey
Nina Nastasia - On Leaving, pretty constantly
The Fugs - The Fugs First Album
Sleater-Kinney - One Beat
Public Image Ltd - First Issue/The Flowers of Romance

I am actually enjoying the new Radiohead as well. I hardly expected to, but shoot if it doesn't sound like they're playing honest-to-goodness instruments. NO LASERS. Nice, generally quiet album. One loud rocker. Solid.
