Ringo Starr on Rain, take your pick of any of em. Just classic.

Jody Stephens on September Gurls, the one at the end of the solo, and the ones after that too. Meaty as fuck.

Clem Burke in the fadeouts of both Denis Denis and Heart Of Glass.

Whoever drummed for GBV on the track Exit Flagger, that is proper mental bastard drum filling and he loses time at the end and you can actually hear how knackered he is and it's totally boss.

Not sure if this counts as a fill exactly as it's a repeated part of the drum beat itself, but Roger Palm's little skip and hi-hat "tsssch" at the end of every bar in Dancing Queen is endlessly joyful.

Dan Auld's mutant cowbell battering at the end of Wear The Suit.

Hal Blaine in God Only Knows (the one that goes "ta-ta-ta-ta").

I will return with more.

Britt Walford on the Breeders record "the Pod."

The song "Doe".

That little falam or whatever it's called.

So badass.

And Mike's very own blamx6 blamx6 on the snare during "I love you means I hope you don't survive the night"

That one made Grand Forks very happy!

Mr. Washam's deft yet subtle hi-hat swing break on Song Number One by Rapeman.
Plus about every second on Berserker.

Mr. McEntire's excellent sense of kit fill on "Jefferson-In-Drag" by Bastro.

Mr. Lo's drumming prowess on "Tight Around the Jaws," and all Chavez recordings.

Mr. Barocas's driving phrase-turnarounds on "68" by Jawbox.

Mr. Dow's superior construction on "Third Gear Scratch" by Shiner.

Mr. Hurley's perpetual tightness within the Minutemen catalog.

Mr. Crover's savant percussion on "Hog Leg" and other songs by Melvins.

Mr. Cameron's early propulsive pounding on "Gelatin Babies" by Skin Yard.

Mr. McNeilly's opening salvo on "Mouthbreather," and all songs from Head through Down.

Mr. Rising's mercenary traps under Poster Children, Hardvark, Seam, and Lustre King.

Mr. Wyatt's drumfill odyssey with early Soft Machine.

Mr. Pickeral's fluid strokes in Truly's Fast Stories from Kid Coma, and to a lesser extent Screaming Trees.

Mr. Williams's happy schizo-metering within the whole of Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller).

Mr. Collins superb '80's-bombast-prog-cloaking on "Against the Odds." (this one is pure assumption that he did indeed play on this song).

....

That hurt my head. I'm going to stop now.

Rey Washam's drumming is always awesome, but on the Scratch Acid song "This is Bliss", there are some amazing fills.

One fill of Damon Che's that really sticks out is, well, the whole last half of "Stupid Puma" on II, it makes my heartbeat irregularly.

NOt a very good band, but Rollins' band drummer Sim Cain plays this badass fill in the middle of a song called "Starve", but it's the highlight of the song.

But I think that my all time favorite fill, and it is a simple but incredibly ingenius one, is the eighth-note-triplet that Tim Alexander plays in the middle of the second chorus of "My name is Mud". It's just so fucking perfect, so catchy. His fills are some of the best.

TooMany:
Cynic = Greatness. a little cheesy / dated / overblown... but great none-the-less.

Favorite Fill(s):

BILL FUCKIN' WARD / last few fills of "War Pigs" (before 'luke's wall' outro)

Dale Crover / "SQWEETIS"

Will Goldsmith / snare stutter/rolls in "8"

and last, but not least... NEIL PEART / Intro fill for "Digital Man" on the SIGNALS album. My favorite Rush album. HAHAA!!! really.

Gotta second the Bruford from "Heart of the Sunrise".

I don't know about ever, but Glenn Kotche's 16 measure fill in the middle of Wilco's "At Least that's What you Said" immediately came to mind. That's my favorite one right now. It makes me take the hands off the wheel and applaud in my car dangerously.
