Saw their first show (without realizing it--I was there for Les Savy Fav and got a pleasant surprise) and was impressed; heard some live MP3s and was impressed; finally got their album and, no duh, I'm pretty impressed.
Ian Williams, total weirdo, total genius. Not crap!

Saw their second show - superb. Haven't heard their recordings yet, but I plan to.

3I haven't seen any of their shows, but I got their album/ep/whatever on Monitor records.
Some of the most boring, sterile music I've heard released in years.
I think it sounds sterile, the songs are sterile, the playing is pretty much what you'd expect, the drums sound like shit (or like a Deftones album, actually), and i feel stupid for spending $11 on it.
I thought it'd be good "gym" music--something with no words that I could mindlessly work out to--but it just ended up making me mad.
Bye,
Ike
