Those strapless tops, as well as most strapless tops, I find to be very gross. Ick.

The guy from Pelican can't keep time.

Thank you! I saw them a month or so ago and couldn't figure out if they were doing very clever and ever so slight time changes or if the drummer was just fucking up.

As for Martin from Mogwai. C Rabbit, you hold a grudge against this band for some reason and I intend to find out why. I suspect one of them did the hibbedy dibbedy with your lady wife.

I just saw Mogwai play about 2 hours ago. Nothing wrong with the drumming at all. And apart from that one beat that crops up in a lot of post-rock (bass bass - bass snare) I don't recognise any of it from Slint. In one song on CODY he even plays a tango or something. I think he's a decent drummer, not phenomenal but not bad at all.

MBV's drummer is terrible. I won't judge from Loveless (I think those are all samples). I'm talking about live. You know, reality. I had a bootleg from the early 90s and it's just incompetent drumming. Very painful.

Someone said Phil Rudd? Dumbshit.

Agreed on Molina, Brett. I think it's a testament to Crazy Horse's brilliance that they've managed to create such beautiful music with that douche on the kit. I believe Tim Midgett once made a minor defense for Molina by citing the drumming on "Heart of Gold." He sounds good on that song.
