I agree with the last point. I've seen Pitchforks other lists and they have a habit of listing a bunch of albums by one artist. Why not pick just one of the albums that you think is best by one band or artist to make room for other bands.

i don't know, they had three miles davis albums on the list and i still think they could've put get up with it on there. but i'd much rather see dub housing in it's place. oh, and bitches brew… 1969. what the fuck?

also, i think david bowie was one of the most prolific and amazing artists of the seventies and low is an amazing album. i think it's a well deserved placement at number one. however i think they should've replaced either here come the warm jets or another green world (preferably the former) with music for airports or something. they completley ignored his ambient works.

and finaly, the classical, the only thing nurse with wound released in the seventies was chance meeting… and, while interesting, is a pretty bad noise record in my humble opinion. i was glad to see twenty jazz funk greats on there however.

I thought the list was, well, OK. Being Pitchfork, they had to include to 'idiosyncracies', and I thought putting Eno up so high after just reviewing his re-issues was a bit, well, lazy, even though he deserves top 100. Just about. Glad to see Throbbing Gristle in there, but whilst I was overjoyed at the inclusion of Entertainment! in the top 10, I was orgasmic when I saw The Pop Group's Y in there. That is one hellllll of a brotherfucking record. Word. Et cetera.

I wasn't referring to any Nurse records, I was referring to the Nurse with Wound List as an example of a more interesting/helpful list of records than any "best of"s that are constantly getting published
