What exactly is the attachment that is used at Electrical to attach a second microphone to a mic stand for mic'ing the bottom head of a tom? It looks like a small boom arm or something that attaches to the stand so you can attach both your top and bottom head mics to one stand. This seems like a very efficient solution for reducing the number of mic stands around a kit.

Maybe a stereo bar?
