Flea: "Like a soft rose growing in the springtime"
Hahaha, what a guy!
I'm now totally convinced that this man wrote the soundtrack to the old sega game 'Toejam and Earl'

Holy crap did he have great tone. Clean and distorted. Both great, truly great.
And it looks like Frusciante is really, really into what he's playing.
So I can understand what Flea was saying about it breaking John's heart to have it out there, sounding like ass on the net, before the real-deal album is even out there. It makes sense, it seems genuine, and I have no hesitation about granting that point to him.
That guitar tones were really great, on SNL anyhow.

it had like a thousand levels and no save game function.
i don't know anyone that completed it.

i don’t really feel bad for flea but i do think we will be seeing more of this in the future. record label based “leaks”. i can only hope that the new rob thomas and pumpkins records get leaked a few months before they drop.
and thanks for the river phoenix footage. what a terrible loss. they broke the mold when he died. and probably when brandon lee died too.

We need no more bands apeing the Offspring and their ilk (consciously or otherwise).

hmmm, poor sound quality.... as opposed to the over-the-top mix compression and clipping on their last 2 albums?
