What's the big deal? If it raises funds (I'm pretty sure the world's already aware) to combat a disease, I'm for it. If it is nothing more than some kind of publicity stunt, I find it to be dumb.

For an organization/enterprise that consistently pursues half-baked or downright dumb ideas, Major League Baseball did a great job with this fundraising and awareness-raising exercise.
