When I went to San Juan I bought a whole bunch of "once in a lifetime" style souvenirs, and now it may be "once of twice or several in a lifetime" shit that won't make me a nickle on e-bay. No fucking way am I going to make a trip to Monterrey. They use Pesos down there.

Also fucked re: the Expos: Apparently MLB did not allow them to make any September call-ups. This in addition to making them play in 2 "home" parks, making them go on that 30-game road trip or whatever it was a few months ago...Fucked.

major league baseball needs to be shot for it's gross mishandling of the expos. if anyone watched the last home series where fans packed the park, you'll understand that the city deserves a team just as much as any other locale. it's not their fault they got pissed off when they were competing for the pennant just before the strike.

What about the Twins, they were going to cut that team too a few years ago. Now they are kicking the Sox ass. Damn, they should have cut them last year, the Sox might of had a chance at the playoffs.

baseball said beforehand that if they don't accept they're going to slash the payroll (it's already only 46 million.. or about 4.5 times less than the evil empire (yankees)). this would mean they can't keep any of their best players and would be so terrible that baseball would finally have an excuse to get rid of them for good.

If they actually move the Expos, they'd better not change their uniforms. Relocation/expansion leads to teal, purple, and silver bullshit.

I'm lucky this season... my Astros seem to be holding their own. This hasn't always been the case though. Here in Houston we hardly ever win in the finals of any sport. We just can't close the fucking deal. With the exception of the Rockets years and years ago. But, the Astros are pretty fucking alright in my book, right now that is! But those Cubs sure are nipping at are heels.

Oh, and by the way... that is shitty news about the Expos... makes you wonder what kind of cracker assholes sit around and jerk eachother off while determining the fate of such teams. What a fucking jip!
