Barak Obama (Democrat, running for Senate and doing really well even before the Ryan sex scandal) is a really good guy. I'm 99% sure that, if elected, he would be the ONLY BLACK SENATOR. Now, I don't beleive in positive racial prejudice or anything, but it's pretty fucked how homogenized Congress is and since Obama is a really good guy and stands for the people and other things that make him a great potential senator, and because I do beleive that our current government is racist in a bad way, I think the fact that he is of color is just an added bonus (so fucking sue me). BUT now the GOP is trying to get Mike Ditka to run!??!??!!! Because he is a fat, meathead, former football coach that makes him a cantidate for Senator? I think it's obvious that he is being (probably) thrown into the race simply as a place-holder to keep the Senate white and Republican.
