I recently rediscovered this cassette (self-titled first album) in my collection and I realized how much I enjoyed the cheesy synth new-wave. The heavily reverbed drums, the ultra-delayed guitar, 6x+ layered vocals, and the [kevin] spacey pitch-shifted synth lines all seem to click together in the dumbest/catchiest way. "Messages" a great pop song.

On this album, I vote NOT CRAP. I haven't listened to any others. Nor do I care to.

I always thought that "Space Age Love Song" was a prime piece of 80's new wave pop music.

Did anyone else see bands reunited on VH1 with this band? I think thats the best concept for a tv show, although most of the bands they have on it are no good, except maybe Dramarama
