The best concerts I ever saw were played by Pleasure Club, Rocket from the Crypt (last show, bitch!), Caroliner and Fugazi.

You know, I never really liked their records, but when I was dragged to one of their shows, circa 1984-85, Soul Asylum put on one of the most energetic, raucous performances I've ever seen.

i saw TV On The Radio open for the Fall at the Empty Bottle and their set was easily one of the worst live shows i've ever seen in my life. it was _terrible_. a hispter trainwreck.

this was before they had their first EP out on T&G, so maybe they've gotten a lot better with touring and all, but what i saw of them live was cringeworthy.
