I just remembered, a keep a copy here at work of a letter which accompanied a planning application. It informed me that

The keeping of pigs in dark, low buildings is fround a pone.

matthew, the work retard, said last week that he wasn't going jogging if 'there was the same level of consistancy to the rain'

the same day he also spent 15 minutes walking around the car park for no discernable reason...

yeah but you wouldn't say "superfluous to requirement" you would say "surplus to requirement" geddit?

I think you COULD say superfluous, but it would be more usual to say surplus. Hence its not a malaprop, just a slightly odd way of speaking.

well, i think it's stupid. and it would be nice if you could back me up once in a while!
