Rags And Bones - No Means No
Eat Lead - Breaking Circus
Cissy Strut - Meters
Add It Up - Violent Femmes
Night Time - Strangeloves
All Of A Sudden - XTC (otherwise-cheesy fretless category)
Curtis Mayfield - Pusher Man
National Anthem - Radiohead
Libido - Naked Raygun

...

(Pretty much can't go wrong with J Jamerson, JJ Burnel, Colin Moulding, David Wm. Sims...)

(edit: had the wrong jam song)

know the one i mean? i'm at work and can't find out

fall-fall heads roll-that one i mentioned on a fall thread and i still haven't remembered the name of it, the one with the delicious descending bass line....

most of queens bass lines are sublime

heart of the sunrise kicks my ass

there is a track off sonic nurse with a really simple fleetwood mac rumours era sounding bassline-track 3 or 4..just a simple subtle pounding one that drips with sex...

i should really start taking notice of song titles...
