44okay, to be honest, i feel pretty fuckin' silly for having posted my "shits & giggles" type stuff on here --- it was out of place in this particular context. maybe if you knew me well, and we were getting stoned, and it was five in the morning and we just didn't give a shit, it would all make sense... but that's not the case, and i should've known better.
what i'll do instead though, is offer you (the reader/poster) something that i am genuinely proud of, something that i take great pleasure in having made, despite the fact that it's really nothing more than two or three second analog loop repeated over and over for a minute or so.
this loop was part of the soundtrack for my second 16mm film. though the soundtrack ended up being more involved and dynamic, i've always enjoyed this original loop as an end in and of itself. like any lock-groove, compositionally, it's pretty basic, but i feel very satisfied listening to it.
maybe you will too.
cheers,
Dave
