Did the EA comp ever get put together. Or was ... Shit I don't know. Just curious where you heard it in the first place.

And yes, that's me.

I started lurking on here right when that EA comp was "underway" (spring of 2005?).

I think you just have to pick thru that thread. I looked and couldn't find it but I'm at work.

I downloaded some songs and that one comes up on shuffle quite often.

I've enjoyed Danger Adventure and Oaxacan to the point where I've street-teamed for them at another online community.

IfIHadAHiFi was a lot of fun to see live.

About a week or so ago I listened to the MP3's on MajorEverettMiller's page. Coarse and melodic. I liked it.

.22. Midwestern-as-fuck.

Christopher_Dragons' sound designs are intriguing.

From the look of many other posts I'm missing out on this Horsewhip business. I'll rectify this shortly.

There are many bands I've yet to discover here and am looking forward to it. This forum should submit tracks for an EA band compilation CD.

EDIT: Can't forget about Bear Claw. I've also talked them up on many an ocassion, but have missed their live performances somehow.

Ok, cool. Thought I had missed something. Glad you like the song. I hope the EA comp comes together sometime. (or has it?)
my mustache will be named 'Rick'.

We've been lucky enough to play with/get to know a ton of bands from this forum, both because of the forum and independently of it. Sicbay, Replicator, Danger Adventure, Red Swan, New Black, Bang! Bang!, Bearclaw, hench's old band The Hit Commission, aaaaand i'm sure i'm forgetting plenty, but sheesh, if we were all in one town we'd have a hell of a music scene.

Looking forward to the Horsewhip coming to town, and i really wanna play with The STNNNG one of these times, dag gummit.

Conformists! I am sorry we cannot play with you on the 16th! But i shall endeavour to be there to rock out and say hi!

yo. http://www.electrical.com/phpBB2/viewto ... mbers+comp

It turned out quite good actually. There were submissions from hunting lodge, form of rocket, Michael Bridavsky, my old band ghost shark, and many others that are eluding me at the moment. I'll see if I can't find my copy of it and I'll put it on the gmail or something. It would be cool to do another one with better artwork (I left it to the devices of each contributor) and more current submissions obviously.

I love it.

Somebody likes Queens of the Stone Age.

That's funny....I don't really like Queens of the Stone Age that much and don't own any of their albums. Maybe I should. I was actually attempting to copy a different band entirely.

Anyway, here are some songs by Ideal Cleaners:

Greco-Roman
They're Not Weird, They Deal
So Now We're Fucked
Contrair Mr. Friar

Oh, and remember:
Ideal Cleaners – The H is O, CD
Mostly straight-forward rock with forays into post-hardcore and post-punk. Nothing very spectacular in the music (and definitely not in the vocal department) but at least it’s better than ARE Weapons’ Free in the Streets. - Punk Planet
A little chi kung up the Ch'ueng Mo O))
