One of the two reasons I thank god for the internet (yes, the other one is granny porn).

I can't vote on this poll until i figure out if they've ever played my band.

I used to listen to it a lot a while ago, and still keep a wee html file going with links to about 20 tunes on it. Some of Mike Lupica's old shows are well worth a poke (although his patter can be irksome), Terre T has had some great live sets and Three Chord Monte has some good garage.

Granny porn is not something for which I have yet acquired a taste. But never say never, right?

WFMU is great and still surprising after all these years. It would be great to have a community radio station in Chicago like that.... free form. ...especially in light of WBEZ ending much of their music programing.

We do have great collage radio (WLUW, WHPK, WNUR, ....) and I listen to WBEZ and WFMT all day long but WFMU is a totally other animal.

and for freeform done well about half the time: WCBN.
