I didn't get any pictures of the "drumoff" or the chick playing Bob's bass, because it was frankly brutal, just brutal to witness. i mean the last thing i'd want would be some texan yahoos jumping onstage and putting their grubby mitts on my rig, right? Also there were idiotic, downright atrocious questions during Q+A that the band had managed to put up with in good sport.

Welcome to the board, jvan. Excellent pictures!

I thought the drumoff was amusing and certainly unlike anything you'll see at any other show. And yes, the questions were embarassing. I chose to ask my question after the show ended. The answer? "Air conditioning and barbecue."

My excuse is that we were just in Italy, and I'm allowed to roll with it.

French food is nice too. Please, don't forget us next time!

'Lord, am I ever getting fat!

A friend remarked to me that 'Albini has filled out.' I replied 'Yeah, there was a time when that wallet covered almost the whole of his ass.' We both then agreed that you are still skinny by all relevant standards. Worry not (though that guitar strap may yet cut off the natural workings of your Transverse Colon, so you might watch that).
