Great look on Bob's face as Steve turns and gives the audience the "money" shot.

Are you getting fat, or are you becoming a power hitter? I prefer the latter.

116I have to say that my initial enthusiasm over Glass Eye's return to the scene was quickly squelched by actually going to see them. The songs were just flat. God love 'em, though.

That's OK - it looks like they were rocking some unknown equipment, also:

My excuse is that we were just in Italy, and I'm allowed to roll with it.
fer crissake. you ain't fat. you are a 40-something year old man, you don't do 300 situps every morning, and you wear your guitar like a girdle. Of course you are gonna have little belly rolls.
Try strapping that thing around Bob. Well, if you could actually get it around him.... without him ripping your arms off.....

I didn't get any pictures of the "drumoff" or the chick playing Bob's bass, because it was frankly brutal, just brutal to witness. i mean the last thing i'd want would be some texan yahoos jumping onstage and putting their grubby mitts on my rig, right? Also there were some idiotic, downright atrocious questions during Q+A that the band managed to put up with in good sport.
thanks to the band for putting up with the crowd and coming through with a good set, as it were. i hope we haven't permanently turned you off to this godforsaken state.
I'm sure I was right by you at the show. Were you standing next to the girl asking them to play 'pull the cup?'
