2Not crap. The more you watch this show, the more you will like it, and the more bizarre it becomes. I think it took me three months of watching reruns on Canadian tv before I finally got it.

3I rarely watch this show, but I am never disappointed and am always pleased at how they nail Garland, Texas. Maybe if I ever get a digital camera, I can photograph my neighbors and post them here to prove that it isn't really playing off of Arlington, which is way more urbane.

seconded. as a big bevis and butthead fan i was dissapointed with this show at first. now i love it. it's pretty much the opposite show in terms of the style of humor (i.e. subtle rather than overt), and i'm impressed with mike judge's scope of comic sensability. great show, not crap.

5Great.
For a long time I thought it was Mike Judge from Judge wrote this.
It isn't. Mike Judge from Judge drives trucks.
My favourite episode ever was when the four of them had to be firemen, and you got to see each of them reflected through their own eyes. That was approaching genius.

9HOLY SHIT NEW EPISODES STARTING TONIGHT
Though I am to understand this will be the final season.
This show at its peak was better than the Simpsons at its nadir.

Lemuel, I cannot tell you how much I love that you just used "urbane" and "Arlington, TX" in the same sentence.
