Good luck with your continued nondescript and half-hearted contributions to this forum. People like you keep the world spinning properly on its axis...

You know, I thought that you were a pretty good guy at first, but you're really just starting to seem like an egotistical asshole. I mean, I usually agree with what you have to say, but acting like a complete dick to someone who happened to disagree with you and then gave up the debate is stupid. You patently don't need to rub it in. Evincing an attitude of that much sickening superiority about political issues is incredibly pointless, closer to the way today's conservatives conduct politics than anything else, and really smacks of nothing save overpowering insecurity. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me - I have not read this debate, as I haven't had the time, so I don't know how mean the guy was to you. But, really - come on, that's low.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

Second Edition: this is schadenfreude's first contribution to the thread, after nine pages. Does it look like anything other than piling on? I put work into this forum because I believe very strongly in free speech and in getting out the truth on 9/11. schadenfreude is welcome to call me a nut if it's accompanied with a debunking of my evidence; that would show that he stood for something.

I posted and commented on schadenfreude's earlier posts because i believe that he is commiting a cardinal sin of forum participation by jumping into an argument, getting someone else to take the time and reply to his post, and then walking away. Don't start what you don't plan to finish. An argument is like a contract you enter into.

Your feedback is totally welcome, I am often a asshole, and I don't see that behavior of mine improving much the longer I have to watch this war, this president, and these crimes go uncorrected or misunderstood. I am, after six years, unable to dial down my hatred for this administration or anyone who stands in my way of getting the truth out. I will debate schadenfreude on the facts, or I will trade insults with him- it's his call.

I'm headed back to work- I'll look forward to any further thoughts you might have.

Okay. That's more convincing - I didn't know he'd jumped in after nine pages. I didn't mean to be mean earlier. I did just jump in as well, I guess - as I said, I hadn't read the rest of the debate yet, though I will try to make time for it now (if it concerns 9/11, it deserves a read so long as it's not just total garbage like Falwell saying that the country got hit because people tolerate gays). I hope you weren't offended by me calling you an egotistical asshole. When I read what's been brought up in this debate, I'll probably say what I think about it all.

What, so I'm not allowed to participate in this thread if I don't meet a minimum word and post count quota?

You used a tired cliche comment and I ridiculed you for using it. If you have no problem dismissing normal people as de facto CIA plants, then don't get upset when people call you a tin foil hat. I have debated this topic more than enough and I am not interested or compelled to do so here as well. The fate of the free world doesn't hinge on who is victorious in a debate between you and me. On the internet.

edit....and I didn't even know we were debating in the Israeli thread. I made a few comments, there were replies, and we all simply stated our opinions and that was that. I didn't realize there was a prize for having the last word. You can congratulate yourself on the one vs. none victory as you like, it doesn't offend me.
That's not entirely true.

Well I apologize.

I actually used to live for debating on forums (and I might boast, quite well). I'm afraid I've grown quite bored or tired of it the past several months. Rare is the person who can argue a point without being an asshole or acting like opposing opinions are held by assholes (which I'm guilty of). There was a day it seemed like person A would post point 1, 2, 3....and person B would say 1 and 2 are wrong and this is why, and so on, so forth. Maybe it's the post 9/11 divisiveness that has ended this climate. In any case, I don't dig it.
That's not entirely true.
