I found myself rooting for Holland and I'm German, that's absurd, isn't it?
I don't understand where this English confidence comes from. Even with four of Portugal's players missing in the 1/4 finals, how should the English beat them? That was very close to school yard's level football, so far.

447Damn!! 1 minute after the match and those cunts are already driving their alfa romeos through town, honking and screaming. It's always the same with those crying and cheating pussys. Australia would have deserved to win, but what are you going to do with a ref like this?
I hope, at least Switzerland wins tonight. That would make my world a happy place again

I didn't used to like the fact that certain teams behaved in stereotypical ways, but now I love it. I like to see the Italians dive, and the Argentinians slyly kick players, and the Germans confound their critics and the Spanish underachieve.
It's all part of the drama.

Hmm. I kind of agree. But there was something appallingly tedious about the Italian dive and penalty this afternoon. I was looking forward to another thirty minutes of defensive Italy against dogged Australia. What we got instead was no fun.

450They need to do something about the diving, from everybody not just the Italians.
