i think if they had a system that takes 'shots on target' into consideration it would encourage teams to attack instead of defending their way to the cup.

I really wanted Argentina to win as well, but Germany pulled through when it mattered.
The first half was rather dull. One of the possible downsides of the "dream matches" between equally skilled sides is that you sometimes have matches like today's: when the talent and energy are spread evenly between teams, neither team can really break through.
I don't give a rat's ass about the Italy-Ukraine match. Come on, France!
