Today I stopped to pick up a few groceries, and observed that Yes's Close to the Edge was playing on the store's sound system. Looking up the song later, I see that, based on the titles of each section, it is clearly about an unsuccessful attempt at bowel relief:

b) Total Mass Retain
c) I Get Up

This can't be mere coincidence.

I will never again be able to listen to this album. Maurice, you ruined Close to the Edge for me and I am not sure if I will ever recover, or, more importantly, if I will ever forgive you.

Even worse: I just know the next time I have some, um, "bathroom problems" I will immediately think

"Geez, I have total mass retain."

Dammit.
