Ballacks. I had ten quid on Germany at evens with a mate. He was dead keen, I accepted the on-paper best of it without hesitation.

It's a bet I haven't minded losing, to watch the game of the tournament. Superb goals, superb play.

One day this century England will play like that; freely with confidence, certainty, and balls. Maybe.

Who is 'we'? Enough with the passive/aggressive thing. You are 'here' well enough for most of the time, except when you decide the whingeing Poms aren't quite good enough. I hate and try to fight the influence of the Sun as any other decent human being; I don't see why I should to be blamed for it by someone with politics clearly opposed to everything the Sun represents knowingly choosing to live in the country where it is the biggest selling newspaper. If you are offloading responsibility, you are part of the problem.

I live in The International Free City of London, not England.
