1 Hating her parents.

To be fair (to me) her parents were (are) vile, it wasn't simply regular in-law hatred. Her mother was a mouse-like retard, and her father a repulsive, passive-aggressive chauvinist pig.

2 Not being her ski instructor.

I'm reading between the lines here since this is something that was never openly stated by her, but it would explain the denouement of the relationship.

3 My dislike of Hawkwind.

She had a collection of Hawkwind records about a mile long, and over the years I searched it fruitlessly for even a single track that we might share enjoyment of.

4 That I cut my long, blond flowing hippy locks.

I don't think she ever came to terms with the squaring of my 'image'. That her (now) husband has long hair and a goatee is evidence there-of.

No, but not for want of her trying.

1. call her out every time she was late to meet me, which was about every other day and being late is a huge pet peeve of mine, which anyone around me knows.

4. refused to go dancing or to dance parties, number 3 was my way out.

5. make fun of how much time and thought she spent on her hair to make it look like she just woke up out of bed, most likely causing her constant lateness, see 1.

I have the tendency to mock a lot the person I love. For me, it just comes with affection, it's not mean at all and it's just because, in general, mocked boys react in a cute way. The problem is, it's probably a bad habit because it looks like it's vexing sometimes...

-Breathing through my mouth while eating...during allergy season my other option was to suffocate. Still drove her nuts.

-Listening to classical music while working/doing something..."how can you concentrate on anything while listening to that?!!"

-Being a pothead for the better half of our relationship

-My libido, which included desires to try new things and get a bit kinky..."why can't I just want plain old sex?"

-Biting off my fingernails, then chewing them into tiny bits and spitting them out.

-The year and a half I spent fucking around with MS flight simulator..."you're not actually flying you know".

-Inviting friends over to our place. She hated having to host or have other people at our house. I, of course, often did anyway.
