I am currently looking for a job. This is a seriously shit task. I recently moved house, but this is worse. What are the all time shittest taks that face the average Westerner at some point in their lives? I would like to form some kind of ranking so I know just how shit my life is.

Please exclude such things as AIDs, death, etc. Ordinary shit that has to be done.

Let's begin. Rank the following:

-Finding a job
-Signing up for unemployment benefit
-Filling in tax returns
-Moving house
-Untangling mike leads

Shitty bosses.

Trying to sort out / maintain a serious relationship.

General illness and going to the doctor.

Going to the dentist.

Doing exams.

The dole office isn't that bad. Apart from the cunt who used to serve me who took me off. Fucker. Yeah, it is that bad.

Job interviews are a shitty task within the "finding a job" umbrella.

I consider having a bad hangover a task too.

Mowing the lawn.

Getting a haircut.

Buying/selling a house.

Buying clothes/shoes.

Taking down/putting up your recording set-up.

Setting-up guitars.

Filling-in application forms.

Returning phone calls that you know are going to be hour long exchanges of, "so what else is going on?"

-Finding a job

-Breaking up with a significant other (This one can also be awesome...eventually)

-Putting gas in your vehicle

clothes shopping ranks pretty damn highly for me - i really don't like doing it.
