I bought a bass and guitar at that place both for $150. Actually, our drummer bought them for me -- he had gotten a sweet job and before he did, he said to me, If I get a sweet job, I'll buy you a bmx bike. I already had a bmx bike at that point, so he bought me these guitars. Nice guy huh?
BMX bikes rule, don't they? Your drummer sounds cool.
If I have it right, Elliot Dicks just bought the Jesus Lizard's old drum flight cases from this joint. I know he bought them, and I *think* I remember him saying it was from dem guys, but I had a couple drinks on, so, y'know.
But they have some interesting used instruments and amps every time I go in there, and their prices are definitely reasonable. They had an EV RE-20 in there a while back (or a PL-20, I forget cause I had a couple etc etc) for quite cheap, but I didn't have the money to buy it. Next time I was in there it was gone.
But still, your drummer is cool, and so are BMX bikes, and so is Music-Go-Round on Milwaukee.
