I need some new headphones for tooling around town. What are the best Shure "In-the-Ear" Headphones to Get?

I use E2C (I think) which are (were) the cheapest of the decent in-ears. They sound great and do a fabulous job of blocking out external sound, but if my MP3 player was powerful enough to drive a pair of regular closed-backs (as my old CD walkman thing could) I'd go back to that for reasons of comfort.

Forget the Shures. They're too expensive for "tooling around town" with an iPod IMO.

Try these:
Sony MDR-EX51LP/WHI

They have fantastic sound, give good isolation, and at $40 beat the Shures price/performance-wise. I also think these sound significantly better than the E2 and E3 models, which I really don't care for. If you must spend $300 or more on earbuds, get the Etymotics instead.

i think ec3's are the ones that consistently get the best reviews?
