80s US Hardcore. Hands down

All right, I tried to pair bands that had at least some common denominator. I realize the outcome might have been different with different pairings--Die Kreuzen would've won against anybody but The Birthday Party--but something must be said for having gotten there first. Still, some of these bouts were maddeningly close,

I ran out of British punk bands long before I did US hardcore bands, having been involved in the latter era and having a more comprehensive knowledge of its bands. I realize that there are plenty of British punk bands I've never heard, so feel free to append any additional pairings and keep the tally running.

I disagree with so many of those "analogies" that I cannot believe this person has listened to said bands in any amount.

Unless it's a sort of a joke or something.

I've seen most of the bands on the list, I think.
