Awful Restaurant Names: Real or Imagined

I love the names of Japanese burger chains Mos Burger and Freshness Burger.

I'm also amused by all the Mexican places in town with names like, "Taco Burrito King", and "Super Burrito Taco". Then there's the Taco Burrito King on Western Ave. that changed ownership and is now simply "Taco Burrito (rust stain)".

I guess this the wrong thread. These are all great names.

That would be Taco Burrito Palace #2.

That's the one that's right where Lounge Ax used to be.

Back in the Fakir days, when all 3 of the other string players lived in the building on Addison across from the police station at Addison and Halsted, we ate at the Taco Burrito Palace on Halsted (number one, I'm guessing) a couple blocks south of Addison multiple times a week. I always got the Quesadilla. Holy frick was it oily.

I bet it still is.

I'm glad you linked the sign. The '#2' is to the left of 'Palace', so you read it as "number two palace". Actually, I just call it the 'poo palace' and keep going til I hit Yoshi's.

#2! C'mon! I would eat at Taco Burrito Palace, Jr. or Raymonds, the Sequel, but #2? If refried beans are on the menu?
