The berrs were cheap and got the job done. The DJ was in top form. The tamales were excellent. You missed it. The conversation was *excellent*.

Hellyes!! was the first to split, then Beelzebubbles, and Same and I closed the joint down. A++++

And not a single word was uttered about Pitchfrick or Clap Your Butt Say Douche.

I look forward to next time.

Right on, Scott! Good times at Club Foot last night. Aside from it getting a little smoky in there, I have never had a bad time at Club Foot. Chuck is a great guy-- old school Chicago rocker, very down-to-earth-- always gives me and friends at least one free drink. And, I am always pleased wit the DJ's. And, I don't concur at all with the implication that it's hipster city there. I mean, yeah, there are hipsters but where aren't you going to find hipsters in the Uk Village/Wicker Park??

And, if quality beer is what you seek....try Quenchers. Screw Map Room.

I'm fine with any bar as long as it's not overly crowded, I'm with good company, and the music isn't rediculously loud.

I think Map Room and Club Foot are both pretty nice for their own reasons: Map Room has free pool and pretzel rods as well as a great beer selection. The DJs at Club Foot spin Wire records.

So yes, last night was a good time. I'm looking forward to more berrs in the future!

What a good peace-keeper! good work.

And, another thought on Club Foot...I can see maybe where a person new to CF could see it as a "Rainbo-Lite" but you should understand that CF is one of the ORIGINAL rock bars in Chicago, sometime before that neighborhood was happening. Like everything that's cool, hipsters are bound to catch on and invade it. Go when it's not so crowded, sit at the bar and talk to the owners and DJs about rockumentaries and other silly stuff over a High Life. I think you'd get a different impression.
