Hammerhead, I think is better then Todd, I a bit biased cuz I saw Hammerhead and I haven't seen Todd, but I mean c'mon Hammerhead rules. Good "pissed off music". Pissed Jeans is probably good "pissed off" music.

I put on Blackened Air the other day and the wife immeditaley asked what I was mad about, so maybe Nina Nastasia is good "pissed off" music too?

or, you know, you might better serve your disposition by listening to something kinda leftfield like, uh, the Mountain Goats. Some of the songs are angry, some are creepy, some are lovely, beautiful, and quiet. ALL are well-written. While it's tempting to go for the Slayer throat thing, maybe something a bit different might work as well. Plus, the Mountain Goats have a song called "This Year" with the chorus: "i am gonna make it through this year if it kills me"....how can you beat that?

No you're not - ANb would be Relapse Records recording artists Agoraphobic Nosebleed. Scott Hull from Pig Destroyer on guits. Similar stuff to some PD, but perhaps goofier, more blurr/noise-oriented. "Honky Reduction" CD-EP was their best.

I could shoot myself for not flying to New York to catch the live. Except then I would probably end up shooting someone else...

I missed 'em too. Heard they played a few Bodychoke songs, and even "Right to Kill"!

Since we're getting heavy into metal/extremity here, I suggest Revenge from Canada. Out of hand black/death, hybrid. Totally unrelenting, certainly not for everyone. The drummer blasts through the albums like Mick Harris on "F.E.T.O.". Similar tom rolls too!
