What team do you root for and why?

I root for OGC Nice. Tonight will be their first game at home:
Nice - Nantes.
Both teams have lost their first game of the season.



I have been going to the stade du Ray for 14 years now, I have a season ticket in this stand:

The past 15 years have been difficult for Nice which spent many years in second division and had a lot of financial problems. Since 2002, OGC Nice is in first division (Premiership) and has done quite well, unfortunately losing the League Cup final at the Stade de France last april:





Biggest rivals are: Marseille, Cannes, Bastia, Bordeaux and Saint Etienne (Agent202's favorites ).

I love this team because they are underdog. Everybody outside of Nice hates us.

I support Notts County, the world's oldest football club (1862). Also one of the world's shittest.

As recently as 1991 we were in what is now the Premiership and reached the quarter finals of the F.A. cup, you know. Last season we avoided relegation to the semi-professional Vauxhall Conference Division (the 5th league) by a mere point. And to think Juventus play in black and white to honour us, the world's oldest club.....

Great Simmo! Supporting Notts County isn't easy. Nice could have gone the same way (they had almost lost the profesionnal status at a time).

I've supported them all my life, because my dad supported them as did my grandad.

Hearts are currently one of Scotland's top clubs, thanks to the investment of Vladimir Romanov.

it could have been worse, i could have said chelsea. I've supported manyoo since i was a kid and am lucky that i grew up when they were at their best.
