Holy fuck. This is worse the when we didn't have a definition for a planet.


I thought it was because they discovered a tenth orbiting mass beyond pluto, which was approximately the same size and constitution. Apparently there are nore big rocks out there that pretty much fit the bill to be called 'planets' if pluto is the fundamental criterion.

other arguments i've heard is that pluto just gets grandfathered in as a planet, and the others are just considered satellites or whatever.

One of the earliest known civilizations(sumerians) listed pluto as a planet... but who knows. Aparently gods(crazy planet x reptiles) told the early peeps where those planets were at / what colour they were.

I like the fact that ancient tablets depict the solar system exactly how it is.

Why? Answer: reptile gods?
