SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM...snore.

I think you meant to say Fake Train, although Sun Ra IS awesome.

For a long time the answer would've been Polvo simply because they had released so many great records, and the only great thing that Unwound had released to that point was New Plastic Ideas. Well Repitition, then Leaves Turn Inside You came out, and well Unwound ruled out.

Ending your band with an album like Shapes? CRAP (let me hear it Faiz)

Unwound over Polvo.......though both are great bands.

kerble is right.

Right and not at all stupid.

I do like some damn Unwound, but I give it to Polvo in a sec. because I feel like they broke some new ground at a time when few bands were doing so.

I saw them do some good shows, some great shows, and some "meh" shows, but even the meh shows were well worth seeing. They were never bad.

The one time I saw Unwound, they were fantastic.

But, I listen to Polvo often, and Unwound only a few times a year. So, that answers that.

Steve Popson is one of my favorite bass players. Never overdoes it, knows when to drop out, great tone, creative.
He was their secret weapon.
